Hi, Chynna Dolls!
My name is Chynna, and I am a mom-tog who enjoys the art of photography, uninterrupted meals, and a little silence from time to time. I mean, hey, what parent doesn’t?! I love, love, love my almost two-year-old daughter, and I follow her around with my camera, hoping to capture every adorable detail of her life and our adventures around the world. Nothing is more important to me than family. In addition to my non-stop job as a mother, I am also a work-from-home teacher with a mild addiction to peanut butter. All peanut butter errrthing! Lately, I’ve enjoyed taking on the challenge of transitioning to a vegan diet, so keep a lookout for those recipes on the blog, too!
When gifted my first camera in 2012, I was excited to take up such a dope hobby! I immediately fell in love with sports photography and started shooting football and basketball games at my university, which also gave me the perfect opportunity to check out my honey, up close, on the court! Following graduation, we started traveling for my partner’s job, quickly realizing shooting sports would be difficult to maintain at the same rate as my college days. So, I eagerly ventured into landscape and lifestyle photography. The support I received from loved ones was unbelievable! So many people jumped at the opportunity to build my portfolio, and I definitely seized each photoshoot with gratitude.
Building my business was an extreme challenge, but one I was excited to undertake; admittedly, I became frustrated at one point. So, I took a short break in an effort to recharge (no pun intended) and I only shot for my own pleasure. After a bit of soul searching (and rebranding), I excitedly bounced back better than before, attracting more clients who treasured my work and valued me as a person, and I could not be happier!
I created this blog as an outlet to share the different sides of me, Chynna, the woman behind the lens, and, of course, showcase my photography. So, here I am. Introducing Chynna: the mom, the photographer, and badass extraordinaire. This is me, and here goes nothing! I look forward to sharing my life, travels, and craft with you.
Dolls, don’t be shy – message me with your questions, thoughts and collaboration requests!
